India, Feb. 19 -- Officers from the Nepal embassy visited the engineering institute in Bhubaneswar after a student from the neighbouring country was found dead in her hostel on the campus. The officers are also expected to meet a group of students who were allegedly evicted from their hostel, amid tension on the institute campus.
While Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli offered some relief to the distressed students, Odisha Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj said the state government has been monitoring the situation and will facilitate the Nepali students, who have allegedly been evicted from their hostel, to return to the KIIT campus.
