New Delhi, May 6 -- The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Monday launched a 20-day mega cleanliness campaign as part of a city-wide initiative to spruce up Delhi's public spaces.

NDMC chairperson Keshav Chandra inaugurated the drive from Safdar Hashmi Marg, the stretch between Mandi House Circle and Bengali Market. He informed that NDMC has engaged all its employees of different departments along with its own sanitation workers in this Shramdan Campaign for cleanliness in its area. This campaign is being run simultaneously in 14 sanitation circles of the NDMC area with the cooperation of employees and members of the local Market Traders Association and Residential Welfare Association.
