Bhopal, March 10 -- On Sunday, an encounter broke out between the Hawk Force and Naxalites in Chimta Forest Camp, near the Mandla-Balaghat border. The gunfight, which began in the afternoon, continued late into the evening, resulting in the killing of one Naxalite.
Mandla SP Rajat Saklecha confirmed the death of the Naxalite. However, security forces have been unable to retrieve the body due to continued crossfire. The deceased is visible from a distance, but access remains restricted.
