Mandsaur, May 25 -- In a major operation targeting drug trafficking, Mandsaur Police have seized narcotics valued at Rs 6.29 crore over the past year, including synthetic and natural substances such as doda chura, smack (brown sugar), opium, MDMA, and cannabis.

Superintendent of Police Abhishek Anand disclosed these details at a press conference on Saturday, highlighting the force's stringent measures against illegal drug activities. Between September 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025, the police registered 104 cases under a special narcotics campaign, arresting 295 individuals.

Among the seizures, 10,887 kg of doda chura was recovered in 63 cases from 149 accused, valued at Rs 2.17 crore. Opium weighing 21.67 kg was confiscated from 26 traffic...
