BHOPAL, Feb. 11 -- Inspecting the cleanliness effort in several parts of the state capital, Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan on Monday told officials to maintain constant communication with sanitation supervisors and quickly respond to problems being faced by them.
Narayan was speaking to officials via video conferencing after reviewing civic conditions in public places at Link Road Number 03, Nehru Nagar Square, Bhadbhada Bridge, Neelbad, Raatibad, Jhagariya Khurd, and Suraj Nagar.
He directed that immediate waste collection be ensured from main roads and green areas, and that haphazard shrubbery and weeds be cleared from green areas and other places without delay.
