Chandigarh, Feb. 24 -- Punjab Police has arrested two operatives of the banned outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), including the key shooter involved in the Nanded murder case. Police teams also recovered two .32 bore pistols along with five live cartridges from the accused.

Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Sunday confirmed that the arrested individuals have been identified as Jagdish Singh alias Jagga, a resident of Harike Pattan in Tarn Taran; and his accomplice Shubhdeep Singh alias Shubh, from Joneke village in the same district. The arrests were made by the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), SAS Nagar, following an intelligence-led operation.
