Bhopal, April 3 -- Bhopal witnessed a rare and significant demonstration on Wednesday morning as Muslim women took to the streets in support of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024. Holding roses and posters featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the women gathered near Hatai Kheda Dam in Anandpura Kokta, expressing their gratitude towards the Prime Minister. Many chanted slogans such as "Modi ji, keep fighting, we are with you."
The demonstration was pre-planned, with Mohseen Ul Haq of Rahmat Masjid, Hatai Kheda, Kokta, inviting media representatives to cover the event. This marked the first time in Bhopal that Muslim women publicly rallied in favor of PM Modi regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill.
