Mumbai, July 19 -- In what will prove to be a major attraction for the visitors and tourists once again, the refurbished Van Rani, the iconic toy train of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SNGP), will soon start chugging once again, after a gap of four years.

Van Rani's services were suspended in 2021 after it suffered heavy damage from Cyclone Tauktae in 2021 that passed by Mumbai. The revamped new Vistadome toy train, equipped with transparent roofs and large glass windows, has arrived from Ahmedabad and its trial runs have begun.

After the trial runs are completed successfully, Van Rani will resume operation most likely during the current monsoon weeks, giving a chance to the regular park-goers visitors, nature lovers, and children.to...
