Mumbai, June 10 -- In a disturbing mishap, four commuters were killed and nine others injured when they fell down from two overcrowded suburban trains between Mumbra and Diva stations of the Central Railway in the Thane district during the morning peak hour traffic on Monday.
Though the commuters falling off from a speeding suburban train is a common occurrence, this is for the first time that commuters with bags and backpacks travelling on the footboards of two overcrowded trains running on parallel lines brushed against one another and fell down on the tracks.
