Mumbai, May 20 -- Three persons from two families were killed and four others injured in a major clash between the members of two families at Dahisar in north Mumbai. The clash took place on Sunday evening between the members of Gupta and Shaikh families, both residents of Gully number 14 Ganpat Patil Nagar slum at Dahisar (West), a far-flung northern suburb of Mumbai.
While Guptas are fruit and coconut vendors, the Shaikh family is into tailoring. There has been an enmity between the two families for more than three years. So much so that the members had failed cross-complaints against each other in 2022 over a physical assault.
