Bhopal, June 28 -- A powerful rain system continues to bring widespread downpours across Madhya Pradesh, affecting more than 21 districts, including the capital Bhopal. The Meteorological Department reported that heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds, lashed many parts of the state on Friday, leading to waterlogging, damage to infrastructure, and disruptions to daily life.

Several districts, including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, Rewa, Satna, Khargone, Shahdol, Narmadapuram, Chhatarpur, and Mauganj, experienced intense rainfall.
