Bhopal, May 20 -- As temperatures soared to a season-high of 46degC in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh grappled with extreme weather variations on Monday, including scorching heat, sudden storms, heavy rains, and strong winds across multiple districts.

The state witnessed dramatic weather shifts, with some areas receiving much-needed relief from the oppressive heat, while others faced storm-related disruptions. In the state capital, Bhopal, brief evening showers lasting about 10 minutes in localities such as MP Nagar and Katara Hills offered temporary respite from a week-long heatwave.
