India, Sept. 14 -- The issue of family legacy in politics is once again stirring debate in Madhya Pradesh, where several sons of senior BJP leaders are actively building their profiles, hoping to step into the political space shaped by their fathers. The BJP leadership, however, is making it clear that pedigree alone will not guarantee tickets or posts.

The debate sharpened after a series of resignations in district organisations where relatives of sitting ministers or MPs had been nominated to party posts.
