Ranchi, Feb. 1 -- The Central government is going to give houses to more than 4 lakh homeless families of Jharkhand. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) of the Central Government, each beneficiary will get assistance of Rs 1.20 lakh. With this, they will be able to build their own permanent house.
Earlier, the Central Government had approved housing for 1.13 lakh homeless people, but now this number has been increased to 4,19,947. This is a relief news for those people who neither got the benefit of PMAY nor got a house under the Abua Housing Scheme of the Jharkhand Government.
