Ranchi, May 8 -- Under Operation Abhyas in Ranchi, the District Administration successfully conducted a mock drill in Doranda area for civil safety in case of disaster. As per the instructions of the Home Ministry, Government of India, the mock drill was started at Mecon Bhawan, Doranda as soon as the siren rang at 4:00 pm under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate-cum-District Disaster Officer, Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, Chandan Sinha. The mock drill was conducted by the District Administration while ensuring that people face minimum inconvenience and emergency services are not disrupted.
