New Delhi, April 15 -- Senior Delhi Congress leader and former MLA from Sultanpur Majra, Jai Kishan paid tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary. Paying tributes to Ambedkar, the Mayor called him a symbol of social justice, equality and human rights.
"He was not just the architect of the Constitution, but a voice for the oppressed and a visionary who shaped India's democratic framework," Jai Kishan said, invoking Ambedkar's slogan "Educate, Agitate, Organise".
Addressing a gathering at a Dalit colony near Nangloi railway station, Jai Kishan praised Dr Ambedkar's enduring legacy in championing the rights of marginalised communities.
