Bhopal, Feb. 22 -- Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company MKVVCL on Friday warned consumers to refrain from unauthorised tampering with electricity meters. The company has emphasised that individuals found guilty of such actions will face legal consequences under Section 136 of the Electricity Act 2003.

Consumers experiencing issues related to meter readings, billing discrepancies, or power disruptions are urged to report their concerns through official channels rather than attempting unauthorised interventions.

Complaints can be registered via the call centre at 1912, the company's online portal (portal.mpcz.in), the UPAY app, or by visiting the nearest electricity distribution centre or zone office.
