New Delhi, May 7 -- The Delhi Police have arrested a minor boy, for allegedly hitting and injuring a 45-year-old man by a rashly driven car, in central Delhi's Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, an official said on Tuesday.
The impact was so severe that the pedestrian was flung into the air. Police apprehended a boy and his age is determined to be 17 year old.
The accident took place around 10.20 pm on Monday when the car, allegedly being driven recklessly, struck the man, he said. Soon after, a team was rushed to the spot to investigate the matter after registering details of the case. On the accident spot, a 45-year-old man was found lying on the road with serious injuries.
