Ranchi, May 26 -- The work of distributing seeds among the farmers of the state has started by the Agriculture Department. In the program organized on "Seed Day" in the premises of the Directorate of Agriculture, Kanke, the State Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey inaugurated the seed distribution by giving seeds to the farmers.
On the occasion of Seed Day, the Agriculture Minister started the seed distribution scheme by providing seeds to two farmers of Ratu, Budhmu, Kanke, Mandar, Chanho and Ormanjhi blocks. Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey also inaugurated the conference hall of the Directorate of Agriculture on this occasion by cutting the ribbon.
