Dehradun, June 27 -- Uttarakhand Education and Sports minister Arvind Pandey's son Ankur Pandey and one of his friends died after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck. While two died, one was seriously injured in the mishap which occurred in Bareily district of Uttar Pradesh in the wee hours on Wednesday.
The 24-year old Ankur was travelling in a car with friends to attend a wedding in Gorakhpur when their car collided with a truck. Their friends in another car behind them took the three injured to a private hospital where Ankur was declared dead while his friend Munna Giri died during treatment. The third passenger in the ill-fated car, Gyanendra Yadav is in a critical condition.
