Ranchi, April 15 -- State Minority Welfare and Water Resources Minister Hafizul Hasan Ansari has once landed in controversy for his alleged remarks on the Constitution and holy book Quran.
On the side-lines of Ambedkar Jayanti, the Madhupur MLA was quoted that Shariat came first for a Muslim and then the Constitution of the country. However, when he was in the line of fire by opposition for his remarks, he later said that both the Shariat and Constitution were equally important.
