With a mix of high heat and chances of thunderstorms, the city's weather is expected to remain volatile under the influence of a regional cyclonic system. According to the IMD, a significant East-West trough is currently active, stretching from central Pakistan and adjoining northwest Rajasthan all the way to Bangladesh, southern Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal.
