Jamshedpur, May 29 -- In a significant step towards breaking taboos and spreading awareness around menstrual health, social organization YUVA (Youth Unity for Voluntary Action), in collaboration with Girls First Fund, celebrated World Menstrual Hygiene Day across several villages in the Potka block, including Gomiasai, Champi, Sangram, Chardih, Tangrain, Jojo Dih, and Sidirsai.

The initiative aimed to challenge deep-rooted social stigmas associated with menstruation and to equip adolescent girls and women with accurate information and the confidence to manage menstrual health with dignity.
