Gurugram, March 31 -- The Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG) is yet to take action against more than 2,000 property tax defaulters of the city.
It is being said that the corporation has not even given notice to any property tax defaulter for the last three years, whereas the corporation has a rule to recover the property tax by sealing and auctioning the property of the property tax defaulters.
The corporation has property tax dues of about Rs 400 crore against 2,000 people for more than five years in all four zones of the Municipal Corporation.
