Gurugram, June 3 -- The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has launched an extensive pre-monsoon action plan on Monday which involves the deployment of special teams across 160 locations identified as waterlogging-prone within the city to prevent the recurring issue of waterlogging during the monsoon season, officials said.
The campaign was spearheaded by MCG Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya and was reinforced during a high-level review and planning meeting chaired by Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma. The meeting was convened to address various civic concerns and public complaints, especially those related to sewerage, drainage, road infrastructure, cleanliness, beautification and waterlogging within the Gurugram assembly constituency.
