New Delhi, May 2 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has taken a significant step towards improving waste management in the city by designating 106 locations where residents can dispose of construction and demolition (C and D) waste (Malba) generated from construction and repair work. This initiative aims to provide a structured and efficient way for residents to manage their C and D waste, thereby contributing to a cleaner and more organised Delhi.

After his elevation as Mayor, Raja Iqbal Singh had reiterated that the BJP government in MCD will focus to make clean and green Delhi by ensuring sanitation and cleanliness, waste segregation, disposal of legacy waste, etc.
