Bhopal, May 13 -- With the weatherman predicting an early arrival of the rains this year, Mayor Malti Rai conducted an inspection of various waterlogging-prone localities in the old city areas of the state capital on Monday.
During the inspection, the Mayor told officials to ensure the timely removal of waste and regular monitoring of rainwater drains in the area.
Rai visited Kabadkhana, Liaqat Market, Berasia Road P&T Colony, Sindhi Colony, Sundar Nagar, Rambha Nagar and Ibrahimganj, instructing proper cleaning and clear water passage from all nullahs.
