Bhopal, March 24 -- Mayor Malti Rai laid the foundation for development projects worth Rs 1.2 crore in Meera Nagar and Trilanga on Sunday. The projects aim to enhance local infrastructure and ease commuting issues.

At Meera Nagar in ward 49, Mayor Rai inaugurated road, drain, and culvert construction projects worth Rs 50 lakh. Former municipal chairman Surjeet Singh Chauhan, mayor-in-council member Sushma Babisa, zone president Babulal Yadav, and several officials attended the event alongside local residents. The project aims to resolve long-standing infrastructure concerns and improve daily life in the locality.
