Lucknow, March 4 -- Within 24 hours of removing her nephew and political heir Akash Anand from all party posts, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati, on Monday, expelled him from the party, citing his response to the party's show-cause notice, which she said was "selfish and arrogant".
Akash Anand's reply to the show-cause notice made it clear that he was under the influence of his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth, who has already been expelled from the party.
