Lucknow, March 5 -- Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati, on Tuesday, reacted sharply to the ongoing campaign to remove loudspeakers even during Ramzan, saying that the state governments should treat all religions equally.

Terming the action as step-motherly treatment to Muslims, she said the government should treat all religions without any bias. The BSP supremo also expressed the possibility of social harmony deteriorating due to this action and said that the government should pay attention to it.
