Lucknow, April 4 -- Appealing for support to the government in the fight against the novel coronavirus, Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati on Friday said that in this hour of need, the party MLAs should provide Rs 1 crore to help the needy people.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter on Friday, Mayawati said, "In view of the challenges that have arisen due to the coronavirus, it is my appeal, especially to the BSP MLAs of UP, that they should also provide Rs 1 crore from their MLA fund like the MPs of the party to help the needy people. Other BSP people should also take care of their neighbours."
