Bhopal, April 25 -- A major fire broke out on Thursday afternoon at the premises of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in Bhopal, triggering swift emergency response efforts. Fortunately, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far.

The fire erupted around 12 noon near Gate No. 9 of the BHEL campus. According to initial reports, the blaze spread rapidly due to dry vegetation and scrap materials in the vicinity.

Firefighting units from BHEL were immediately deployed, and additional fire tenders from the Bhopal Municipal Corporation were dispatched to assist in controlling the flames.
