New Delhi, June 5 -- The country's largest carmaker Maruti-Suzuki added another 30 Megawatts-peak (MWp) of solar power, installing 20 MWp at their latest plant at Kharkonda and 10MWp at Manesar both in Haryana.
This takes the total installed solar-power by the carmaker to a total of 79MWp across their multiple manufacturing facilities across India. The company has a target of achieving 85 percent of their power sourcing from renewable sources by financial year 2030-31.
