DANTEWADA, April 9 -- A Maoist rebel carrying a reward of ?1 lakh on his head and allegedly involved in the Cholnar blast that killed seven policemen in 2018, was arrested on Wednesday in Dantewada district, police said.
Midiam Hurra (20), was arrested from the forest of Kirandul police station limits, located around 400 km from here, by personnel from the district reserve guard and the local police, Dantewada superintendent of police Abhishek Pallava said.
Hurra, who had joined the outlawed CPI (Maoist) in 2016, was active as a member of local guerilla squad (LGS) under the Malangir area committee of the Maoists, he said.
