Nangal (Rupnagar), May 12 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday vowed to block what he called the BJP-led Centre's "sinister and unlawful" attempt to snatch Punjab's river waters through the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). Mann, who once again visited the Nangal, accused the BBMB authorities of trying to release additional water to Haryana. "It is for the third time in a fortnight that I have visited Nangal following the BBMB's efforts to release extra water to Haryana," he said, warning that any such move would meet with fierce resistance from every corner of Punjab.
