KENDRAPADA, Nov. 27 -- The Additional District Judge (ADM) awarded three years of imprisonment and slapped Rs 5,000 fine on a man for outraging the modesty of a seven-year old girl. The convict was identified as Tikan Mallick under Aul police station and the incident happened on December 22 last year.
As per sources, while the victim minor girl was returning from Manapur market, Tikan allegedly lifted her from the road and later forcibly outraged her modesty in an Anganwadi centre.
ADJ MR Dora, while adjudging the case after verifying the witness and evidence, awarded the punishment.
