UJJAIN, Feb. 18 -- Ujjain police have detained a youth who managed to reach the stage of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's event by impersonating a protocol officer. The incident took place during the inauguration ceremony of Emperor Ashok Setu at Rudrasagar, near the Mahakal Temple, where the Chief Minister was addressing a large gathering on Saturday evening.
According to officials, the suspect was seen moving among police officers wearing a formal coat and pants, with a Chief Minister's Protocol ID card around his neck and a walkie-talkie in his hand.
