Bhopal, May 16 -- Habibganj police have registered a case against Aakash Uike, a local resident, for sexually assaulting and exploiting a 31-year-old divorced woman under the pretext of marriage. The accused allegedly harassed the woman over a prolonged period, making false promises of marriage to gain her trust.
According to police, the victim, who supports her family by working as a laborer, came into contact with Aakash about five years ago. The accused, living in the same locality, befriended her by offering help and assurances that he would marry her and raise her child.
