Bhopal, March 20 -- Shahjahanabad police have registered a case against a man and his sister for allegedly forcing a woman to convert to their religion and threatening her life.

The accused, identified as Majid Ali and his sister Tabassum, are currently absconding following the victim's complaint.

According to police reports, the harassment began approximately two years ago when Majid started pressuring his wife to accept his religion. The victim also alleged that her sister-in-law, Tabassum, supported and participated in the coercion. When she refused to comply, the accused threw her out of the house. Since then, she has been residing at her maternal home, where the accused allegedly continues to threaten and intimidate her.
