Bhopal, June 3 -- A 45-year-old man,Kripashankar Rajput, was beaten to death near Samardha drain after a dispute during a liquor party with colleagues from Som Company.

The argument escalated when Rajput slapped a youth, who then called his friends. The attackers allegedly threw chilli powder in Rajput's eyes and struck him with a baseball bat, causing fatal head injuries.

Injured was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Rajput used to run a hotel and used to work in Som company. Four suspects, including two main accused, are in custody, while others are being questioned.

Police have launched a manhunt and started investigation to reveal any old dispute between the two groups.
