Kolkata, June 27 -- Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has dashed off a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi questioning the efficacy of a hundred per cent Foreign Direct Investment of the coal sector saying the decision would chip away at the essence of "Atmanirbhar Bharat" as propogated by the Central Government.
Besides she has also expressed her doubts whether the decision would actually bring FDI as according to the current global investors have been showing more interests in renewable energy projects.
