Kolkata, Feb. 3 -- Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday begun a two-day dharna that was likely to be stretched further if the State's demand for release of locked up funds towards the payment of 100-days work and other projects were not met soon.

Attacking the Centre for influencing the Comptroller and Auditor General report on the issue Banerjee said, "they are not sending us the funds citing the CAG reports and alleging that we had not sent them the utilization certificates but it is completely untrue as we have sent all the utilisation certificates of funds that had been sent to us earlier."
