Kolkata, Feb. 19 -- The Bengal BJP on Tuesday hit out at the Chief Minister for alleging that Mahakumbh had turned into 'Mrityu Kumbh'.
Calling Mamata Banerjee a "Hindu Virodhi" or anti-Hindu Chief Minister, the BJP MLAs who earlier staged a walkout from the State Assembly to protest against the suspension of four of their colleagues including Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari for 30 days, said the people would not forgive Banerjee for insulting the Hindu religion.
Adhikari who was staging a sit in demonstration outside the State Assembly wearing saffron turbans said "she has called the religious congregation on which crores of Hindus have faith a Mrityu Kumbh. The people will not tolerate such an insult to Hinduism."
