Mumbai, May 22 -- In the fresh incidence of pandemic cases in Maharashtra, the state health authorities recorded 26 more Covid-19 positive cases -25 in Mumbai and one in Pune - in the state on Wednesday, taking the total number of positive cases registered since January 2025 to 132.
There have been two Covid-related deaths since January this year. Both the deaths were reported from Mumbai and the deceased had comorbidities (simultaneous presence of two or more medical conditions in a person), according to a statement put out by the state Public Health Department.
