BHUBANESWAR, Nov. 20 -- Leader of Opposition (LoP) Pradipta Naik (BJP) raised the alleged killing of Jajpur district's Haridashpur PEO Smitrarani Biswal again in the State Assembly on Tuesday demanding dismissal of the SP and the SCW Chairperson and a CBI probe into the matter.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Naik alleged that proper investigation into the matter has not been done yet. The death of PEO raises many questions as to why she would commit suicide while her husband is a Government servant and while she has a daughter. He also wanted to know as only one person (main accused Rupesh Bhadra) has been arrested and four others, who were present at the time of incident, have not been brought under the purview of investigation.
