India, Nov. 20 -- Stressing the need for UN reforms, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday underscored the importance of re-evaluating the United Nations' current structure in light of a rapidly changing global landscape.
He highlighted the necessity of essential reforms that address contemporary challenges. Birla observed that in a world grappling with critical issues-including war, terrorism, climate crises, and digital threats-dialogue, cooperation, and timely global reforms have become indispensable.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla made these remarks while delivering the inaugural session of the 26th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World on Wednesday.
