Garhwa, Feb. 17 -- A joint jail adalat, legal awareness and health check-up camp took place at the jail on Sunday. The event was organised by NALSA and JHALSA, under the direction of Nalin Kumar, the Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority.
The District Legal Services Authority, Garhwa, informed inmates about their legal rights. They were advised that if they couldn't afford a lawyer, or if their case had been decided by the District Court and they wanted to appeal to the High Court or file a bail application, they could send an application to the District Legal Services Authority, Garhwa, through the Jail Superintendent.
