Lohardaga, March 31 -- On Saturday, a meeting of the District Level Peace Committee was held in the Zilla Parishad office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna regarding Eid-ul-Fitr and Ram Navami. In the meeting, the members of the peace committee were informed about the problems of their respective block areas. On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the people here are in favor of mutual harmony, peace and brotherhood. Eid, Chaiti Durga Puja, is the festival of Sri Ramanavami. The birth of Lord Shri Ram is a symbol of mangalya and peace. There is no attempt by anyone to tease anyone. Said that all the committees should be deployed during their procession.
