New Delhi, March 29 -- In another setback to Congress leader Supriya Shrinate over her remarks against actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has sought a detailed probe report from Delhi Police commissioner Sanjay Arora. The move by Saxena comes in wake of BJP leader Baansuri Swaraj writing a complaint to the LG, demanding investigation and registration of FIR against Shrinate for "outraging the modesty of a woman".

"Supriya Shrinate, through the aforementioned Instagram post, has committed the offence of outraging the modesty of a woman, thereby contravening Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860," Bansuri said in her complaint to LG.
