India, July 13 -- Since time immemorial, India has been blessed with a vibrant and diverse linguistic legacy, reflecting our country's perennial cultural and traditional coexistence. Over the decades, though unfortunate, there has been persistent and often agonising debate over linguistic hegemony, that is, the imposition or dominance of one language over others. Such concerns stem from fears of marginalisation, loss of identity, and erosion of cultural heritage. Notwithstanding such periodic outcries, India's linguistic diversity has not only survived but thrived. This resilience is rooted in the deeply embedded values of mutual respect, coexistence, and inclusivity that define our nation.
